The 35 acre Cedar Falls community is nestled at the foot of Mount Si in North Bend. Core Design’s engineering, planning and landscape architecture teams carefully planned the site’s layout to integrate green infrastructure with native plants and open space to create a sustainable community. 100% of the stormwater is collected, treated and infiltrated on-site through a network of rain gardens, bioswales and dry wells. Open spaces, trails and community parks preserve and highlight trees indigenous to the site. The central play park incorporates trails, a play structure, rain gardens, natural play elements and seating to enjoy the mature vegetation and views of Mount Si.
