Core worked with numerous government agencies, design professionals and builders to create a collaborative and visionary 2200-acre community which synthesized new urbanism with neo-traditional planning concepts. Core provided a full scope of services including engineering, planning, survey and landscape architecture. Site considerations included sloping topography, density goals, environmentally sensitive areas, and to take full advantage of the views of Seattle and the Olympic Mountains.
The master-plan included elements such as six miles of roadway, a series of parks, utility design, ballfields, irrigation systems, sanitary sewers, water systems, trail and mass grading which can accommodate 3,250 residential units, 2,950,000 square feet of commercial use and 425,000 square feet of retail use when completed.
